I think its the optimal medium sized sedan for people who want to drive around in a classy vehicle which would be a status symbol for them, while enjoying the comfort and the thrill of driving a powerful car. The 5 series cars are very outgoing and look very muscular as well. If modified the right way, even the 530i can look as good as, if not better when compared with the sports versions in this class.
