New Generation Fiat Bravo Spied

Sorry for reminding you about Fiat Bravo again.We are sure some of you were anticipating Bravo in Indian roads this year.Even we were also in that league till last June.Then came Fiat’s announcement about deferment of Bravo’s Indian journey.But we feel Fiat will definitely bring Bravo to Indian Indian soil in near future.

The exciting part of the story is, Fiat is testing the new version of Bravo in European roads.The 2010 Fiat Bravo which was caught by spy photographer will be launched in Brazil first.Fiat is planning to launch a face lifted Bravo in other European markets as well.The changes in new Bravo is very minimal, the only available image shows the rear part of 2010 Fiat Bravo is same as that of existing Bravo

The front grille could be similar to Fiat Grande Punto Evo,there could be a fine chrome treatment as well.The bumper could be lower in this New Bravo.The engines options also may get  an additional option.The new engine may be a 1.4ltr Multiair Petrol engine which can crank out 120hp at peak.Fiat’s Start and Stop technology also will be employed in 2010  Bravo.

Back to India, Fiat Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd,was sceptical about the volumes that Bravo can churn out.So Fiat India wanted to choose CKD route  for Bravo to launch it in Indian  market till volume pick up.The estimated cost of an imported Fiat Bravo in India was around Rs.13lakhs, this was the reason behind Fait’s decision to postpone the launch of Bravo in India.In fact we must call this a wise step, because even a small kid can say that at this price point one can own a good family sedan.
