Argentina Gets Fiat Linea With New Options, How About Indian Linea..?

Fiat Linea is  one of the sexiest sedan in the market, not only Linea’s  appealing curves impresses the audiences but also the build quality and interior space make this sedan way ahead of  it’s competition. Now Fiat wants to make Linea more   attractive in Argentina, this improved Linea comes with all  standard accessories plus light alloy wheels on 17” tyres, beige leather seats and other interiors  etc. The new Fiat Linea is powered by 1.9ltr Gasoline engine which can develop maximum power of 132hp at peak. The above additional features are optional on two top end trim levels.

“This is aimed to enrich the model with sporty aesthetics but also elegant , respecting the image and ‘ design ‘ of the vehicle “Says Fiat Spa. The improved Fiat Linea will be available in two trim levels with auto and manual gear boxes.

Fiat Linea  is about to complete two years in India, here too Linea emerged as a competitive product in family sedan segment. But our Fiat Linea lacks power as it is propelled by an array of small engines. Still we are waiting to get Linea T-Jet here. By this time Fiat India must have realized the fact that, road ahead may not be smooth as the past. We have a strong contender in making, VW Vento. Last week VW Vento already made it’s public appearance.

VW Vento will surely face fierce competition from already proven products like Honda City, Fiat Linea, Ford Fiesta and new entrant Hyundai Verna Transform. But Vento itself looks very promising interms of styling, interior space and build quality. So what could be Fiat’s counter attack plan? Will they limit their action  by launching the Linea T Jet or  they bring a revamped Linea to take on VW Vento? Only time will tell so stay tuned to Wheelosphere.
