Will India Too Receive A 3 Door Swift??

Suzuki Swift is scheduled for a facelift by end of 2010. Now in a surprising note, spy photographers filmed three door version of New Suzuki Swift  undergoing winter testing. Suzuki Swift five door version with help of  superb engines ruled hatchback segment in India since it’s inception. Now Suzuki wants to induct three door version of successful Swift in market.

Now one thing is clear, 2011 Suzuki Swift will be available in both five door and three door variants. Though the exact launch schedule of both the variants are yet to known, we believe initially US  and Europe will receive 2011 Swift then other markets launch will follow. Suzuki Swift 2011 is exactly similar to current Swift in body design. It is evident that there is a slight change in head and tail lamp design. Probably by 2010 end we will have a look of New Suzuki Swift.

In India, Suzuki Swift has got very good prospective in short term, for sure. But competitors are not wasting any chance to pit against this hot hatch with the help of equally feature rich products. Chevrolet Beat and Ford Figo is joining the battle with Grande Punto and Volkswagen Polo will open the innings in March 2010. We Indians missing a three door car, so it will be delightful if Maruti Suzuki launch 2011 Swift three door in India. So lots to happen stay with us for running commentary!!

    Hats of to suzuki engineers Big on out side small in inside quite oppsite to Tata philosophy dont waste time on designing from scratch just scan a multijet JTD from europe and make it inhouse ,then obtain clearance from bancrupt third parties like GM

      That is a quiet interesting piece of observation. Development of many engines at a very short span will cause such issues. So we can wait and see what is ahead.
