
Yamaha India, enjoying their eventful second spell here.They were vanished from Indian motorcycling arena for a while.But they made much memorable comeback with the launch of affordable yet truly sporty FZ-16 in India.Then we seen a series of successful launches, in all categories including sports machines.Now Yamaha India promises another excitement for New Delhi Auto Expo.We will witness the launch of an improved Yamaha YZF-R1.
“We will launch a new version of YZF-R1 in India in 2010. The bike will be a bit more expensive than the existing YZF-R1, but will have the same 998cc engine,” said India Yamaha Motor National Business Head Pankaj Dubey.The existing FZF-R1 is launched in 2007 and sports a Rs.10.5lacs price tag.2010 Yamaha YZF-R1 will also powered by same 998cc engine.As usual it will take Completely Built Unit(CBU) route, so be ready to spend some extra bucks to grab this roaring beauty.
Yamaha’s plans does not end there, they are ready with many other launches in coming months.

2010 YZF R1 is a promising launch from Yamaha India but it is to be seen whether Yamaha features its 250cc YZF 250 R4 or not in this Auto Expo.

I hope they will launch YZF-R4,250 CC in coming Auto Expo.Anyway we should wait and watch, just another two weeks.
