Bajaj launches 2011 Edition Discover

Bajaj Discover 100

Last year   we saw many superbike launches in 2010 but at the same time  our commuter segment motorcycle recorded never before sales figures. The gone year was a memorable period for  Bajaj Auto. Bajaj Auto managed to benefit  from last year’s huge commuter bikes sales figures. To commemorate the success of Discover brand, yesterday Bajaj launched a new edition Discover 100cc.

“It gives me immense pleasure to see the Discover Brand achieving newer milestones with each passing day. We are taking possible steps to see that the momentum continues.  We have recently appointed more than 130 additional dealers, and I expect them to contribute towards the growth of Discover next year. So with a wider network and with the new product innovation, Discover should also keep growing,” said Mr. S. Sridhar, President (motorcycles), Bajaj Auto Ltd.

The only change in  2011 Discover 100 is, the bike now coming with special graphics and paint job.  Bajaj Discover 100 is now available in two variants Gold Green and Red Magenta. The graphics job on 2011 Discover has the ability to change the colors (Gold and Green or Red and Magenta)  while it viewed from different angles in  sunlight. The 2011 Discover 100 will continue using the existing engine on DTS-i technology platform. Company claims  Discover 100cc has a fuel efficiency of 80 km/lit under actual driving conditions. There is no revision of price as of now.
