New Set of Spy Images Of 2011 Chevrolet Captiva Emerges

Chevrolet Captiva is about to get a refresh. The official launch will happen by this year end. Few weeks before we had brought you a set of spy images of 2011 Chevrolet Captiva. The most attractive and noticeable improvement in the new Chevrolet Captiva is the front grille design. The new Captiva  sports the  latest design front grille which we saw in many recent Chevrolet launches.

Chevrolet Aveo RS forms the base for 2011 Captiva  front grille, bumper and headlight cluster design. The improvements given 2011 Captiva a much needed muscular yet stylish look. Though the new griller is similar to existing design, there is special chromium treatment added to it to enhance the styling. The rear department looks exactly similar to current Captiva and not much changes to specify. Under the hood Chevrolet may plant an all new 2.2 ltr CRDI engine which will return better fuel economy with less pollution. Also this engine will bring more horses and torque. This new engine will be mated with a six speed manual transmission. 

Indian arrival..? We expect new Chevrolet Captiva here by early months of 2011. Some reports suggest that Chevrolet India will bring  new Captiva in our market by this year end. Anyway it’s matter of just few more months, so stay tuned for updates that coming in future. We now you too may be thinking that Chevrolet should act fast and bring this new beast to India very soon.
