Civic, Honda’s one of the longest surviving sedan is getting a facelift. We had posted a set of images of heavily camouflaged 2011 Honda Civic few weeks before. Thanks to Car Middle East, we are able to bring you images of 2011 Civic which caught naked during hot weather tests in UAE. But these latest images suggest that the latest Honda Civic test mules are slightly different from the European Honda Civic test mules.
2011 Civic front fascia appears to be different from current variant, more corners and sharp edges are coming in place of curves. The headlamps are more narrower and front grille looks like a carry over from Honda’s eco friendly warrior Insight. The dash board is two-tier concept as we expected and inclined toward driver. The rear bumper looks plain, not much styling features. The tail lamps are new and matches with design of boot lid. Under bonnet hood, Honda may be planting a 1.5ltr heart in position of 1.8ltr motor.
Honda Motors has already discontinued Civic from their home market, so naturally Japan could be the first country to welcome 2011 Honda Civic. Other Asian countries may receive new Civic after Japan. At this moment we are not aware about 2011 Honda Civic launch, but we expect new Civic in India very soon. The competition is eating Civic’s share here, which Honda cannot afford anymore.
