The next-generation BMW 3-Series is still a couple of years away but we have already got hold of the spy pictures revealing the interiors for the first time. The design that you see is not the real deal. BMW have cleverly hidden the original dash with fake (and rather cheap) plastic parts but you do get a rough idea when you peek inside. The interiors continue to use a driver oriented cockpit although its design looks inspired by the 1-Series. The LCD screen for the i-drive doesn’t blend in the centre console but rather sits in its dedicated swoopy housing.
We will be following the BMW 3-Series closely as it has become extremely popular especially after the introduction of the 320d Corporate Edition. The next-gen 3 will also feature a wide range of engines from a 3-cylinder 1.5L to the top of the range twin turbo 3.0L. The next-gen 3 is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Fall 2011.
