2012 Honda Civic (Project Code :-2HC) concept may get unveiled anytime soon. We expect Honda will be previewing the new generation Civic during upcoming Thailand Motor Show. Thailand Motor Show is very special for us as Honda had earlier said that, a production ready model of their small car Brio will be displayed there. 2011/12 Honda Civic’s commercial launch will happen by mid of next year to begin with Japan. Honda Japan has already discontinued current Civic sedan sales in their home soil. The abrupt departure of Civic sedan in Japan created a huge vacuum so Honda may advance the launch date of new Civic.
Coming back to our story, 2012 Honda Civic has been rendered by two set of people from different parts of the world. Vtec, probably world’s largest Honda fan community came out with a set of renderings where new Civic is just another Honda City. Though we agree to the fact, Civic is big brother of City, it can not be a face transplanted Civic. We anticipate some thing better than current City front fascia, will come with this family sedan warrior. The rear of new Honda Civic is similar to the test mule caught in Middle East. The artist tried to strip the camouflage of test mule which was snapped earlier.
The second set of rendering from John’s Garage gives a more refined and appealing 2012 Honda Civic. It resembles to the test mule spotted earlier both from front fascia and rear view. The front grille is narrower compared to outgoing model, more sharp lines and corners coming in. They are going well with 2012 Civic’s characteristics. The rear of 2012 Civic is being reproduced from images of the test mule. The rear bumper sports more lines, which may not be present in final version.
Honda Civic is known for it’s unmatched level of refinement and handling. Honda may continue these good qualities in new generation Civic too..Want to know more details..? so be subscribed..
