Honda Planning Lighter,Smaller,Less Expensive Civic

New generation Honda Civic is going to loose weight considerably.The weight reduction is not through usage of alternate materials,all dimensions of Honda Civic 2012 are bound to be reduced.So obviously the New Honda Civic will prove lighter for customers pockets.It is learnt that Honda  had made significant progress in development of  2012 Civic which is bigger than the current version and the project has been given way to this small Civic.

“We are taking more time to rethink the new Civic and all our models,” Takanobu Ito told Automotive News. “We had to revisit our development work and our planning to comply with the change in the environment.” Honda Civic for sure made huge contributions for shaping Honda Motors Company in current form and they don’t want to loose one of their capable warrior.

The restart of development exercise will further delay the launch of 2012 Honda Civic, but we can expect a more leaner Civic which is affordable to more customers.That could be a good news though it is coming late.The exact launch schedule and pricing are yet to be known.So stay tuned for further updates coming in our way.
