It has been just an hour we did a story on 2012 Honda CR-V. After new CR-V patents drawings leak story, we have an official version of new CR-V now. Honda has officially unveiled the 2012 CR-V Concept at the 2011 Orange County International Auto Show. As we said in the earlier post new CR-V is a more matured vehicle compared to outgoing model. According to company news release, Honda wants to project new CR-V as an SUV in place of current crossover CR-V.
Honda will unveil the production ready CR-V at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. Honda has not disclosed much details about new CR-V engine and power train options. The 2012 CR-V will run on a set of machined steel alloy wheels.
But Honda said that the new CR-V “will feature a more fuel-efficient engine and reduced body weight.” also company has said that the upcoming CR-V will be roomier than outgoing model.
