Skoda Superb debuted at 2008 Geneva Motor Show and since then it has been emerged as one of the most successful product in the executive segment. It’s sibling VW Passat was recently undergone a makeover. So for those who asked why not Skoda Superb, here is the answer. We have a set of images of facelifted Skoda Superb and Laura test mules undergoing cold weather conditions test in the Alps. The camouflages cladded test mules do not give much details about the upcoming style changes. But we expect new Skoda Superb will have some design elements from Skoda VisionD and Skoda MissionL concepts.
The test mules of both Laura and Superb are sporting a different front bumper compared to current models. The front grille and logo housing has been tweaked to introduce Skoda MissionL concept styling in new Superb. The final version may have additional goodies like a LED studded tail lamps and daytime running lamps. The engine line up is expected to be same as of the current offering.
Considering the amount of facelift in Laura and Superb, Skoda India can comfortably bring them to 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo. If Skoda defers the preview of these models we need to wait till 2012 Geneva Motor Show to get a real picture.
