A-Star Is Rocking Australia

A-Star from Maruti Suzuki launched in India in November 2008.The initial sales figures of A-Star were not that encouraging but now the sales are picking up slowly.Recently Suzuki  A-Star was inducted in Australia too but in the name of Suzuki Alto.Now A-Star started rocking Australia too.This small car named as Suzuki Alto in Australia managed to enter list of top three vehicle list of Green Vehicle Index, a rating instituted by Australian government.

Maruti Suzuki A-Star aka Suzuki Alto got amazing fuel efficiency,in Australia Alto requires only 4.8ltr for every 100 kilo meters.Also the CO2 emission is too less  compared to other vehicle in this segment.Thus Alto managed to score 8.5 out of 10 points.

“Alto was engineered on the concept that people should be able to choose economical, eco-friendly motoring without sacrificing style, comfort, practicality, safety or performance,” says Suzuki Australia General Manager Tony Devers.

“More importantly, we believe drivers should not have to pay a premium price for choosing to help the planet. That is why we made the conscious decision not to use costly technology such as a hybrid powertrain.” he added.

A-Star,aka Alto is already certified with four stars in ANCAP now Five star for green car characteristics.A-Star  you are a rocking star!
