Alien Supercar by RoboSteel

Alien Supercar based on cues from structures at South Indian temples

The car pictures above seems to be straight out of the Alien Vs Predator movie and is one artistic looking Alien machine. The picture you see above shows the graphic representation of how the car would look in real world. Yup, you heard it right RoboSteel are actually making a real Alien-like Supercar borrowing parts from hundreds of cars for the 2010 MPH The Prestige Performance Motor Show. The resulting car will stand just 1000mm tall and weigh just 500kg.

Do you see Indian influences in the design? Yup, you are right. This model is inspired by South Indian temples. Hit the jump for more details.

All the numerous parts from various cars will be put together and welded. According to its creators, the Alienmobile will take over 750 hours to complete. It will be built in Ireland and then shipped to the UK in four pieces. All the sharp edges will be smoothened and coated with several layers of lacquer for protection. As a guide, RoboSteel will use two drawings created by Toonrama (shown above) based on shapes and structures on South Indian temples and the Kirtimukha sculptures that are positioned at the entrance to these temples. The four teeth should be familiar to Hindus. Dave Murphy from Dublin Ink has added an Alien theme to a second design drawing. MPH The Prestige & Performance Motor Show featuring Top Gear Live will take place at Earls Court from November 4-7 and the NEC in Birmingham between November 11-14, 2010.
