Audi Q3 compact Crossover rendered

We know that the Audi Q3 will be launched in 2011. We also know that the Q3 will take on the highly successful BMW X1 and the upcoming stylish Range Rover Evoque. What we still do not know is how exact the rendering shown above will be to the real deal. However, we do know that the Q3 will be based on the Cross Coupe concept shown in 2007. Audi will be working hard to bring out the Q3 as soon as possible after the X1 knocked the Q5 to take the title – Europe’s largest selling SUV.

The Q3 will be built at VW group SEAT’s plant in Spain and 80,000 Q3s will be made annually although that number will see a sharp rise as the Q3 will be well received. The VW Group has invested €300 million in the development of the Q3 and we could also see other versions on the same platform.
