Audi India had earlier said that Q3 mini SUV will be launched in India by early 2012. Audi India has started testing of their mini SUV in Indian roads. Thanks to Pdev of Team-BHP, we have a pair of images of this so called BMW X1 fighter from Ingolstadt. “We are planning to launch the A6 in August followed by the Q3 early next year, said Audi India Chief Executive Michael Perschke.
The test mule appeared in the snaps is exactly similar to the International variant. Audi Q3 will be powered by a 2.0ltr engine both in gasoline (TFSI) and diesel (TDI) models. The engine will be mated to a six speed manual gear box or a seven speed S Tronic box.
Audi Q3 rival BMW X1 (with Rs. 23 lakh price tag) has been performing well in Indian market. So what could be the price of Q3 in India..? We expect Audi will price Q3 under Rs. 25lakh but we need to wait for official information.
