German auto maker Audi has set up a state of the art service centre at Mathura Road in Delhi. The facility will be Audi’s flagship in India and features advanced service facilities to repair aluminium and steel panels as found in Audis these days.
The facility has come up over an area of 20,000 Sqft with the 16 service bays occupying 14,000Sqft. 16 cars can be serviced at any given point of time and there are 8 additional bays to accommodate accident cars. The mechanics have been trained in Audi’s trademark quality standards and comes with specially ‘trained by Audi’ workers to ensure that every Audi that leaves the workshop is upto German standards.

The service facility is the first of its kind Aluminum body repair facility in India, and meets Audi’s rigid standards of technology and workmanship. Equipped with latest tools and sophisticated equipment, imported from various parts of the world, the Aluminum Centre is a significant step to ensure the highest level in body repair quality in India. Spread over an area of more than 20,000 sq ft including covered service bays of 14,000 sq ft, housing service and body shop facilities, it has a capacity to service 16 cars per day and an additional capacity of 8 bays for accidental care. The technicians, trained by Audi, ensure the proper use of approved repair equipment, tools and technologies to meet Audi standards. Audi India had earlier announced its year-to-date growth at an impressive 64 percent (Jan-Oct 2009: 1,449 cars; Jan-Oct 2008: 884 cars).
Audi India has been instrumental in creating new benchmarks in terms of sales and service thereby establishing Audi as a manufacturer of progressive, sophisticated and technically superior luxury cars. The consistent sales growth is also a strong indication of the increasing familiarity and wide acceptance of the brand by car enthusiasts across the country.
The entire Audi model range, comprising the new Audi Q7, the Audi Q5, the new Audi A6, the Audi A8, the Audi A4,the Audi TT and the super sports car Audi R8 is available at 12 dealerships across the country: in Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad,Chennai, Kolkata and Kochi.”
