Bajaj Auto is making all attempts to increase the presence in Indonesia with their successful Pulsar line up. But not everything going well for Bajaj in Indonesia, they are forced to recall Pulsar 135 LS there due to faulty electrical system. Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS was launched in Indonesia in last April and from next month onwards Bajaj is planning to recall Pulsar 135 LS for free repairs.
“True , there have been complaints from the 50 Bajaj Pulsar 135 owners coming to us . But because it is still within the warranty period so we will immediately replace it “said Rizal Tandju , Assistant Marketing and Public Relation Manager of PT Bajaj Auto Indonesia. The snag in Pulsar 135 LS is reported to be associated with electrical circuit which is repeatedly alarming about a discharged battery. Bajaj has already sold over 5000 units of Pulsar 135 there, out of which 50 units have been reported faulty. The problem does not end there, some owners have complained about a dead electric start motor as well.
Anyway Bajaj has come up with quick and effective solution for the problem. Though they are in the process of analysing the problem, they managed to gain the confidence of customers. Bajaj Auto has taken full responsibility of this quality concern and offered under warranty replacement/repair of all troubled Pulsars. ” We will empower all our dealer network across Indonesia to make improvements” said Mr. Rizal. “Therefore, these improvements will give them that KMI had reported and the bike was performing. All repairs are free because it’s still under warranty , ” he added
In India Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS crossed one lac mark within no time. Have anyone of you aware of such problem in Pulsar 135 LS? Do share here.

We,bikers, always had been raising concerns over quality of Bajaj.
I donno why we Indians are always ok with Low quality; based on our road conditions, we should be most demanding and asking only for quality..
Bajaj is very stylish and evertything SANS quality.. My Pulsar 180 is a dying example of this..
i have bought it recently. I am scared now.
@ Sanju,
We think you need not worry about this recall. If there was a trouble in Indian version of Pulsar 135LS, Bajaj would have issued an official release by now.
i own 135ls since lst year, even m facing problem in electrical system like false alarm for low battery and sudden increase in accleration of bike. also m fed up with its engine issues. it does nt even run smoothly aftr a year. its so noisy and already done heavy engine work. i guess i am jst born to take care of it only…smwhere we have to raise our voices guys.
