BMW 7 Series facelift spied in Death Valley

BMW is in the process of giving a mild facelift to their luxury offering,  7 Series sedan. The refreshed BMW 7 Series was caught in Death Valley during hot weather tests. BMW 7 Series facelift will have a  modified bumpers in both front and rear. The “Angel Eye” headlights, a refreshed tail lamps and LED turn lights are other noticeable  additions in the 2012 BMW 7 Series.

Under the hood, BMW may continue with current engine line up. But Bavarian auto major may consider fitting a ZF sourced eight speed box in place of current six speed transmission. BMW may make 7 Series more attractive in terms of fuel economy and performance.

The new BMW 7 Series will hit European dealerships by first quarter of 2012. The details about 2012 BMW 7 Series may emerge during it’s debut so stay tuned for more details.
