“Bugatti Veyron in India”, is no more a dream. Bugatti finally made it’s Indian debut by appointing a dealer in New Delhi. Exclusive Motors who currently dealing in Lamborghini and Bentley in India is the official dealer for Bugatti. Though there is no official word from Bugatti or VW India their website lists Exclusive Motors as official partner in India. BS Motoring reports that Bugatti has already supplied first Veyron to a Mumbai based real estate business magnet.
The story is not ending there, Bugatti is shipping two more units to India later this year. These two Bugatti Veyron are ordered by a South Indian business tycoon. Bugatti Veyron will cost between Rs.16 to 17.5 crore depend upon the variant and trim levels one chooses. Bugatti managed to convince Indian government officials to get exception for left hand drive Veyron here. Thus Veyron super car became the only left hand drive hyper car. Bugatti Veyron got another record too, it is the most expensive super car sold in India. Earlier to Veyron, Mercedes Maybach was holding this record till Veyron snatched it.
Only three hundreds units of Bugatti Veyron will be manufactured in their Molsheim, France facility. Out of these three hundred units Bugatti has already supplied 250 units. Veyron is powered by a 8.0ltr 16 cylinder engine that develops 989bhp at peak. The Veyron is capable to clock 100kms from stand still within 2.5secs. The maximum recorded speed of Bugatti Veyron is 407kms, that makes it is the fastest production super car in the World.
