Chevrolet $4000 Car Concept Image

Chevrolet wants to do a small car magic  that Tata did with Nano.Last week some of the top officials of Chevrolet revealed their small car dreams.Chevrolet is actively pursuing a $4,000 car plan to tap the market potential available.Now GM engineers must be working towards this goal, meanwhile blogosphere brings their on version.It is awesome!

Chevrolet super compact car rendering is formulated by taking cues from  many small car includes Tata Nano, Smart For 2 and  all new Spark.The Chevrolet trademark grille and big headlamps have been kept intact.The BRIC(Brazil,Russia,India and China) may be the targeted  markets of this small car.

GM-Wuling, the Chinese unit of Chevrolet may lead the development process of this small car.They have enough expertise in development of low cost load and people carriers.Even GM-Wuling is  planning to enter to Indian market with their MPVs and LCVs.Other details including power plant details are yet to be known and GM is tight lipped about this $4,000 car.We are sure more details will be coming in our way so stay tuned to Wheelosphere.
