Chevrolet Agile buzz is not settling, last week we had posted the sketches of Agile the all new premium compact from Chevrolet.Today’s  images are more realistic as Chevrolet Agile test mule has been captured in film.Apologies for bad image quality but we are sure the image will give clear understanding about dimensions of  Agile.

Chevrolet is focussing their attention towards BRIC(Brazil,Russia,India,China) Countries, there is no ambiguity on this.Agile will be initially manufactured in Argentina, but ground work has been done in Brazil. They are planning to produce the Agile in Argentina for catering all Latin American  markets.

Agile’s under hood   specifications are yet known but the image clearly indicates this hatchback can give real trouble for many let it be Honda,Toyota or VW if it rightly priced. As we reported earlier Chevrolet may replace Aveo by Agile. In such a case U.S. will also get a plant to produce Agile there. Also Ford is scoring some quick momentum from their  Fiesta Hatchback.Again Agile may stop that run immediately after launch.

Chevrolet might have developed Agile on Corsa D platform, there are many  Corsa elements present in Agile.Mainly A,B and C column profiles are similar to Corsa D, the overall dimensions of Agile are also have some common points with Corsa D, the speculated engine  too comes from Corsa, a 1.4ltr petrol engine. Now come home will Chevrolet bring Agile to India to replace U-VA?We know General Motors India(GMI) is busy with Cruz and Beat (M300) launch activities for rest of the year. But take your own time GMI and give us some thing better than current  U-VA.That may definitely give benefit you too!

We will be closely tracking the journey of Agile so stay with us by joining our free mailing list,
