Chevrolet Beat Caught Less Camouflage By Reader

Chevrolet Beat(M300) was scheduled for June-2009.We were the first to report GM India’s plans for re-scheduling the Beat launch to end of  2009 hope our readers remember that post. Now we have some exciting stuff to share with you all.One of our avid reader Mr.Raghuwar from Pune send us a set of images of Chevrolet Beat which is undergoing rigorous testing near Pune.

Chevrolet M300 aka Beat could be a landmark launch for the company and their Indian associates. After General Motors global turmoil,  the New General Motors Company is focussing in Indian market, Beat could be the most important product launch for them in coming years. The next major launches could be LCVs and MPVs in association with their Chinese partners SAIC and Wuling.

Coming back to our topic,we know Chevrolet Beat is familiar to our readers. The International version of Beat is called Spark and was featured in wheelosphere before few months. The Indian version is quiet similar to it’s International version except it’s front grille. The headlamps of Beat are spreading towards the A-pillar and  covers more than half of the bonnet in length. The two piece front grille is same as that of Chevrolet Cruze, we feel Chevrolet is Globally adopting this new Grille design.

The tail lamp cluster could be the disappointment for those who are looking for styling element. The brake lamp and turn indicator is single unit and equally sharing a single circular lamp assembly. The curvature and contours enhances the styling of Beat further. There are three different variants of Beat are expected in Indian market. We expect GM India will load beat with lots of stuff in all departments.

Recently the Beat’s International version,Spark was topped in crash tests conducted by Korean agencies.Unfortunately we don’t have more images to show the interiors of Beat. But watch these images of Chevrolet Spark, which indicates Beat can give tough competition to those models who enjoy market share in Indian small car pie.

We are all set to give regular updates on further development, so don’t forget to subscribe to our news letters.

We extend our special thanks to Mr.Raghuwar who put his best efforts  for capturing these images and sharing valuable details.
