Chevrolet Cruze sedan getting a styling package in the UK. The new Cruze with racing inspired styling kit is called Cruze CS and will be hitting Chevrolet UK showrooms by third week of this month. The styling kit inspired by Cruze racing car participating in Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. Cruze CS will be available in all trim levels and engine options. The styling kit fitted Cruze, i.e. Cruze CS will cost you more by £1,595. The price tag appears to be an appealing one if you go through complete list of contents of styling kit.
Chevrolet Cruze CS will come with a set of 18” white multi spoke alloy wheels, lowered suspension, a boot spoiler, special CS graphics and matching carpet mats. Other standard features like follow-me-home lighting, remote central locking, a CD-radio system with auxiliary input, premium soft-touch interior plastics and electric windows are also present in this newest Cruze. In the UK market Chevrolet offers Cruze in three variants S, LS and LT with three engine options, 1.6ltr, 1.8ltr and 2.0ltr pot size. The first two are gasoline variants while the third engine is diesel powered. Both manual (six speed) and auto transmissions are available currently.
The styling package looks very clean in design and fitment. The absence of extra lips and skirts makes CS styling kit a perfect style enhancement option for Cruze sedan. Chevrolet Cruze is not a runaway success in India, yet it gathers some significant numbers against competition. We don’t know whether Chevrolet India will bring Cruze CS to India too. Chevrolet has pulled the wraps off a race-inspired option pack to further bring out the dynamic styling and handling of the Cruze saloon – the car favoured by the Silverline Chevrolet team in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
The ‘CS’ styling kit consists of smart 18-inch white multi-spoke alloy wheels, lowered suspension, a boot spoiler, unique CS graphics and matching tailored carpet mats.
That’s in addition to the standard Cruze specification, which includes such features as follow-me-home lighting, remote central locking, a CD-radio system with auxiliary input, premium soft-touch interior plastics and electric windows on even the entry-level model.
The CS Kit is available on all trim and engine variants of the Cruze at the time of order, and costs £1,595, including VAT and fully fitted, at participating Chevrolet retailers from mid-July onwards.
