Chevrolet Daewoo Matiz Creative Launched

Chevrolet Daewoo Matiz is not a new entrant in Wheelosphere.We had shown some clear images of the then upcoming  New Matiz  before.Now Chevrolet Daewoo announced the arrival their all new subcompact Matiz Creative.The vehicle has not yet reached the showrooms till now.The expected launch date is September-1.Chevrolet Daewoo alliance planning to sell this new small car in 150 odd countries across the world.

 

Chevrolet Matiz Creative is powered by a 1.0ltr petrol engine with a four speed auto box in driveline.The tiny engine wont frustrate you due to lack of power.This engine will deliver 70hp power at peak with 92Nm torque.Chevrolet brings Matiz Creative with many new features that we have not seen in any other small car in it’s segment.The Chevrolet Daewoo Port De Activation(PDA) system that ensure recirculation of exhaust air thus ensuring better stability at lower speeds.Also PDA can ensure better fuel efficiency in normal operating conditions.Now Matiz Creative is available in three trim levels,Pop,Jazz and Groove,price at USD7,200,USD7500 andUSD8000 respectively.

Matiz Creative also have some unique safety features including curtain air bags to ensure safety of all passengers,EBD and ABS for better braking  stability and seat belt pre tensioners and shock sensed door locks for added safety.“Our clear goal from the very beginning was to create a revolution in size and design despite the restrictions of the mini segment,” said Taewan Kim, Vice President of GM Daewoo Design. “We wanted to make a statement with an innovative design that would go far beyond a typical mini-vehicle and set new standards for the segment. This is not your average-looking mini-car.”
