Pune Mirror covered an unusual but very interesting story yesterday.Pune civic body is actively considering web2.0 as a option to resolve traffic worries in the city.They are planning to use none other than twitter and google maps.The project will be executed by two college students with all support from authorities.
The project at its final stage will develop a citizen powered traffic information system, from which all class of public can be updated about the traffic scenarios in the city. So all citizen can tweet the live update to this public information sharing system and can be represented in google map.Interesting right?.Also google can take a breath while facing the fierce attack for destructive usage of google maps.
