Ducati’s next Superbike…1199…Renderings are out…

It seems like Ducati is deviating from their traditional legacies. As BMW and MV Augasta are cruising towards superbike crown with S1000RR and F4, Ducati hardly needs a super bike to poach into their turf. Result is one new super bike in 2012 called 1199, can also be treated as a replacement for 1198. So many things are new in this 1199 as Ducati aims for outright performance.

Ducati-1199

First they thrown out their traditional Trellis frame. Next they opted for underbelly similar to that of Buells, Rear suspension seems like taken out from Kwackers with side mounted Mono shock and the bikes tail end is akin to that of Aprilia RSV4. Oh GOD Ducati decided to keep on side mounted Swing Arm and L type V engine. Will these modification make Ducati the king of super bikes..???
