Torque seems to be the main problem with Fiat petrol engines lately. From the description, I feel that they have reused the Linea engine without any change.
But, Punto is a huge hit in the Europe for many years and can affect Jazz, Fabia sales.

Thanks for your comment, Eventhough Fiat’s engines got a bad rating in torque front the refinement is much better than many other engines.Also you are a driver who can analyse each and every aspect of a car.Probably an average driver may not consider torque as a big concern.I feel Grande Punto will be a huge hit in India too.
About Honda Jazz and Fabia, definitely they will have tough times, I think they should learn lessions from Fiat in localization strategy.
