Fiat  now expanded their range of automatic exchange Dualogic ®.Dualogic is the technology allows driver to choose either he wants manual or auto drive.Today Fiat launched four variants namely Palio ELX 1.8 Flex, Siena HLX 1.8 Flex, and Palio Adventure Locker Idea Locker Adventure.Fiat also claims these new range of Palio and Siena offering better comfort and drive performance.

Dualogic technology was first employed in Palio and now Linea also uses this technology.Linea with Dualogic is a super hit in Brazilian market. The automatic exchange technology used in Fiat vehicles is being produced by FPT – Powertrain Technologies.Further details of Dualogic technology are:-

Among the benefits of automatic exchange Dualogic ® are:
- Option manual. Possibility of making the exchange of marches through the manual gear shift.
- Automatic or mechanical Exchange at any time. You can change the mode of address – from automatic to manual or vice versa – at any time with the car stopped or moving. For this, we need only a simple touch the lever to move it to the left.
- Auto down. In manual mode, if the driver does not like, it need not reduce the marches, for example, stop at a traffic light. This is because the central electron recognizes the minimum rotation of each motion and automatically makes the trade, leaving the car "dies". This is self down.
- Function kick down. As with other changes automatically when the driver steps on the gas pedal fund the Dualogic ® system automatically reduces the marches, increasing the performance. The kick down is especially useful in situations where an extra dose of power is required, if a breach of, for example.
- Sports programming. The key "S" is to enhance sporting performance, acting both in automatic mode and the manual. Pressing the key "S" in automatic mode, the exchange of marches will be conducted in a cute top, making better use of the engine power. No manual time of exchange of marches is reduced by focusing on driving more sports.
- Arrancada sports. Unlike the conventional automatic transmission, the impulse is proportional to the pressure on the accelerator pedal. The higher the pressure, the more Dualogic ® system allows the increase of rotation of the engine.
- Protection of the spin motor. To preserve the durability of the engine, the system Dualogic ® prevents the engine exceeds the limit set of rotations. An example: in manual mode, if the driver wants to make a very sharp reduction of marches – say, trying to put the car in second gear to 110 km / h – the system does not reduce the running and warns the driver by an alarm sound and a message of "not consented to maneuver" in the framework of instruments. The same result occurs if the driver trying to hook a march in a higher rotation speed or too low.
- Style of driving. The system Dualogic ® remembers how to drive (manual or automatic) selected when the vehicle was turned off last. It fits the style of driving of the driver, or the exchange of marches held in different rotations, depending on the position of the accelerator.
- Lower consumption. Unlike traditional automatic exchange, the exchange Dualogic ®, automatic mode, helps to save fuel by up to 5% and, consequently, reduce the emission of pollutants in the atmosphere.
