Fiat to launch Linea T-Jet on October 8

Autocar India reports that the much awaited Linea 1.4L T-Jet will be launched on October 8 in India. The more powerful Linea will get 118bhp from a Turbocharged 1400cc petrol engine. As with all engines featuring turbocharging, the Linea will have masses of low end torque making city driving a breeze. The enthusiast car will get a proper 5-speed manual transmission and the Linea T-Jet is said to return good fuel economy figures as well.

The T-Jet will compete against the current segment leader, the Honda City. The T-Jet will get added features like leather seats, hill holder assist, rain-sensing wipers and 16 inch alloy wheels.
