Force Motors is in the process of giving finishing touches to their much discussed SUV. Mr. Anirudh a reader of BSM managed to snap this yet to be named SUV from Force Motors while under going final road tests. This premium product from Force Motors was caught earlier but this test mule is the least camouflaged one we have ever seen. The speculated lunch date of this SUV is this June, Force Motors is expected to announce the official launch date very soon.
Force Motors, with the launch of this new SUV wants to capture market share of two highly successful products, Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari. Naturally Force Motors is expected to price it in the range of Rs. 10-12lakhs. Under the bonnet hood we may see a 2.2 ltr CRDi diesel motor derived from Mercedes Benz C-Class. This engine will be coupled to a five speed manual transmission. Initially Force Motors will launch their new SUV with rear wheel drive option. An all wheel drive variant may follow after assessing initial response.
Force Motors has invested more than 300Cr in their Pithampur plant to develop this SUV. Also company has appointed 24 more new dealerships to support after sales activities.
