Force Motors SUV is slowing attracting auto enthusiasts attention. The yet to be named SUV is being tested in various Indian cities. The latest set of images of the test mule of Force Motors SUV have been published by Ashley of Team-BHP which he managed to click from Bangalore roads. This SUV will be powered by a diesel motor sourced from Mercedes Benz and expected to be priced in Rs. 10-12lakh bracket.
Our good friends at IAB has reported that the launch of this SUV is expected to happen in June 2011. Mr Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors has been indicated that company is in the process of fine tuning the product and it may take another month to finish the task.
Force Motors is well aware of the competition in the segment. The two segment toppers Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari both together will not make the new SUV’s entry smooth. Tata Safari is all set to get a facelift this year and it will further worsen the situation for this new SUV. So let us see how Force Motors will be successful in attractive a SUV buyer to their commercial vehicle dominated dealerships.
