Ford Mondeo Titanium and Wagon Launched In Australia

Ford Mondeo is dead in India.But Ford is very confident about Mondeo and it’s capabilities.Today Ford announced the launch of  Mondeo Titanium and Mondeo Wagon models in Australia.Ford has  packed Mondeo Titanium with features from internal to external.These variants of  Mondeo were shown in last Melbourne Auto Show.

Mondeo Titanium features include Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC) and dynamic head lamps with cornering headlamps.There is  a makeover of all other equipments in all variants.Mondeo Wagon is available in two variants LX and Zetec.Mondeo Wagon is powered by a 2.3ltr four  cylinder  Durotec  engine with excellent power and torque characteristics.This engine is capable to deliver 118KW peak power and 208Nm maximum torque.An optional 2.0ltr Mondeo also available.The new Mondeo gearbox is a six speed auto box with sequential sports shift.

New Ford Mondeo is rated with maximum five star by ANCAP.Intelligent Protection System(IPS),Antilock Braking System(ABS),Electronic Brake Distribution(EBD), Electronic Stability Control(ESC) and Emergency Brake Assist(EBA) are part of the standard offering.The list of features and offering does not stop here.

Mondeo’s external also got some refresh treatment the front and rear bumpers got some nice skirts.The side panels also now decorated with stylish skirts.The front grille upper and lower portions now looking much better than old Mondeo.The 17” alloy wheels adds an unique look to Mondeo.Also now fog lamp cluster looks more refreshing interms of style and function.

Ford India is planning to launch their Verve based small car in next year.But why Ford did not bring this stylish sedan to India?Only ford may answer this question.
