Ford Previews Figo To Auto Journalists

Ford takes  Chevrolet route to introduce  their small car Figo to Indian automotive media. Hope our readers remember, Chevrolet Beat was previewed to media almost a month before it’s official launch. Now it’s turn of Figo, today the much awaited  small car from Ford was shown to media in Goa. Though initially the project dragged for some time, in the final lap Figo gathered momentum and it’s about to launch in India in few weeks time. Figo is not just a small car Ford India and it’s parent company. Ford Figo will be launched in many developing nations after it’s India launch.

Back to main story, few months before the Figo had made a surprise appearance to media. But that the interiors of  Ford Figo was not exposed to camera. But it is a story, today we are happy to share the  latest images of Ford Figo which captured from  Figo media preview event. The Figo interiors are believed to be the best in class, the base version comes with full black interior with grey linings. While the mid and top variants come with black and aluminium garnishing.

The air conditioner vents too got a chrome lining in mid and top variants. The instrument cluster is big, the mid portion is occupied by huge speedometer while tachometer found a place  left to speedometer. The top end variants of  Ford Figo comes with two tone dashboard with two opposing colours. A  decent audio system with Bluetooth compatibility is planned by Ford. Ford India will be launching a no frill  Figo in India, to compete with other products like Suzuki Swift, Ritz and Fabia in price front. The Ford Figo India launch is expected to happen by March, so stay tuned to get more updates on Ford India’s volume churner Figo.
