Global manufacturers have had to revise their strategies by drastically when entering the Indian market and one of the amazing things about our market is the fact that manufacturers can be assured of increased sales during the festive season. And in light of the festivities, Ford India has announced a whopping Rs. 50,000 discount on the Ford Fiesta. However the catch is that the discount is available on the Petrol variant only. At a time when manufacturers are introducing diesel variants(in light of petrol price hikes) of of their already existing petrol cars, owning a Fiesta petrol can be expensive .
Also another factor for this discount is the already high price tag on this car. Add to this the very competitive cars in this segment like the SX4, the Verna, City and many others which score relatively better on the VFM factor. However, the company is offering free insurance, exchange bonus and freebies to go with it. The discount is available till the 31st of October.
