Bams,
Honda is known for quality at all stages as well.
Honda dealers here in Bangalore are saying it will take another 2/3 months for the Deluxe version. That is too looong.
We still don’t know what extra features the Deluxe version has apart from the CBS & the key shutter and at what extra cost.
I went and test rode the new Activa. I somehow feel the quality of materials (Metal,Plastic) and the build has gone down in the new Activa. There were large gaps in the panels & the panels themselves felt very low quality. The rubber cover in the front pseudo air vents are really flimsy.
Kishore You said it right. The looks of new Activa not really digesting to us also.Honda has done many cost cutting measures to bring down the price to some where near Rs.41,000.That left some bad impressions in panels and fit and finish.
About the Activa Deluxe variant we will let you know further details soon.
Hi..
Could you plaes tell me how much would it cost on road! ex-Bangalore.
Because i heard it would come around 48K..
Dear Madhusudan,
The source from which you heard on road price of Honda Activa seems wrong. The on road price of Honda Activa is approximately Rs.46,000 without accessories.

Hi,
Any idea when is Honda upgrading Aviator’s engine with this new 110cc engine?
It is very odd that their base scooter Activa has a better, higher capacity engine than their ‘premium’ scooter Aviator.
I am sure they are gonna upgrade Aviator.
Dear Vikram,
We are extremely sorry to say Honda is not considering any engine upgradation for Aviator atleast for now.HMSI is now focusing on their next launch a 100cc bike.If we get any further updates we will let you know. Please wait till then.Meanwhile make sure that you are subscribing to our daily updates for getting firsthand report.
