Honda Brio, the hatchback offering from auto major is expected to hit Indian market by Q3 of this year. As the launch is just few months away Honda has started testing intensively Brio on Indian roads.
The test mule spotted in India is heavily camouflaged to protect all key element’s identity. The door panels, head lights and tail lamps have been taped heavily but one can easily make out that the test mule is Honda’s upcoming offering Brio. Honda Brio will be powered by an all new 1.2ltr petrol engine mated to a five speed manual transmission. In Thailand Honda Brio is available with a CVT gear box as well. There Honda Brio has dual airbags and anti-lock brakes as standard across all variants.
Honda Brio was launched in Thailand in this March and was welcomed with great response. Unfortunately recent Tsunami forced Honda to reduce production in their Thailand plant. In India Honda products have been dethroned from their top position in almost all segment. Honda will be bringing Brio with great expectations. Honda is expected price Brio between Rs.4.0-5.0 lakhs.
