Honda City facelift brochure leaks to internet

Earlier this week we had done a story on facelifted Honda City. Now we have more details and images of the upcoming facelifted Honda City. As we said in the previous post 2012 Honda City will have a reworked front grille+bumper combination. The gaps between front grille separators have been increased to bring more sharpness to the design. The front bumper has been modified to match the new grille. In the rear, the tail lamps have been modified with inclusion of new horizontal clear stripes. The rear bumper gets a black insert to improve styling.

Under the roof everything looks same except a single tone interior and instrument cluster is now with blue background. 2012 Honda City will get a new set of 7 spoke alloy wheels for the top end variant. The current engine will continue serving facelifted Honda City as well.

In India Honda City managed to reclaim it’s lost crown by trumping it’s rivals like Hyundai Verna and VW Vento. So it could be a very apt time for it to get a facelift so that it can maintain its position in upcoming months. Meanwhile a facelifted Honda City was spotted in India as well, though it resembles to the model featured in this brochure, there are lots of changes as well (especially in the tail lamps design). Anyways let us wait and see whether Honda Siel India is preparing a fire cracker for Diwali.
