Motorreport reports Honda is working on dream project,zero pollution motorcycle.This emission free bikes will be displayed by 2010.This was disclosed by Honda CEO Takeo Fukui,who was confident that the battery characteristics are good and fit in bike usage profile.
Honda Electric bike will be looking to developing countries including India to make it mark visible.This idea was coined by Mr.Fukui,who said there are plenty opportunity for electric bikes in countries where still motorcycles is a common medium of transport.Also the electric bikes will have a definite advantage of low operating costs.So if the initial response is positive Honda can score high.
So it may take another two years to spot a Honda made electric bike.But this news could be another nightmare to already undercharged Indian electric two wheeler manufacturers as well.
