Honda India defers Brio’s preview to media

Honda Brio Indian  preview scheduled for  March 17 has been deferred without specifying any alternate date. As everyone aware  Honda’a home land Japan is facing one of the worst calamities in history. But Honda Thailand  has not issued any statement as of now, we will be keep you posted about the developments in coming days.

“In light of the recent devastating earthquake that hit Japan, causing massive damage to life and property, Honda Siel Cars India has postponed the Honda Brio India preview event scheduled to be held on March 17, 2011 at The Grand, Vasant Kunj , New Delhi,” stated a press release issued by Honda Siel Car India.

“Honda Siel Cars India extends heartfelt condolences to all those who have suffered or lost their near and dear ones in this tragic disaster and stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Japan,” the company release further added.

The automobile companies around the quake-hit Fukushima city have been shut their plants.

As we said earlier Honda Brio may debut in India during Diwali season and may bear a price tag between Rs.4-5 lakh. The production ready model of Honda Brio was spied in Thailand recently. Stay tuned to Wheelosphere for more stories.
