Honda Motors a launched an entry level sedan in China during during ongoing Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition. The new sedan is based on old Honda city and is labelled Honda Li Nian S1. With the introduction of new sedan Honda targets first time car buyers in China. The prototype of Li Nian S1, Everus concept was previewed earlier this year.
Honda Li Nian S1’s production model comes with blunt looks. Li Nian S1 will have two engine options including a 1.3- and 1.5-liter four cylinder power houses. The performance data of these engines are yet to be disclosed, but from previous examples, the 1.5ltr should bring 120hp minimum.
The commercial debut of Honda Li Nian S1 will happen by next year mid.
The production model of Honda Li Nian S1’s is different from it’s prototype in many aspects. The Acura like front grille and LED headlights have been omitted from the production model of Honda Li Nian S1.
