Hyundai’s new small car (Project Code:-HA) finally got an identity. According to Autocar India, Hyundai’s all new small car is Hyundai Eon. The much awaited Maruti Alto killer is expected to hit Hyundai showrooms during this October. According to ACI, Eon will replace Hyundai India’s maiden product Santro. But this news is still awaiting official confirmation from Hyundai.
Hyundai Eon will house an all new 800cc engine under it’s hood and will carry a price tag less than Rs.3lakhs. Though Hyundai Eon will be shorter than it’s sibling Santro, it will will score over Maruti Alto in terms of interior space. Hyundai Eon is developed by company’s product development center in Hyderabad under close monitoring of Korean head quarters.
