Hyundai i10 Facelift International debut during Paris Motor Show, India launch to follow

2010 Hyundai i10 Facelift

Hyundai India is testing a facelifted version of their successful i10 for the last few months. The facelifted Hyundai i10 was recently spotted in Pune by our blogger friends. Hyundai will be unveiling this more peppier i10 during  Paris motor show scheduled for mid of September 2010. Hyundai India will be bringing facelifted i10 to local market by this Diwali.

i10 though managing to score good sales numbers since it’s launch in India, Hyundai knows it is not going sustain in long run as competition is growing and gaining more strengths. To counter  growing competition Hyundai is giving a major facelift to i10’s mechanical elements. Hyundai is planning to bring a smaller engine too, so the facelifted Hyundai i10 range will get a new 1.0ltr. This smaller engine will be more fuel efficient and will smoke out less carbon comparing to other i10 engines. But Hyundai will be fitting their Variable Valve Timing power train to this small engine too.

Hyundai i10 facelift will sport a new grille and headlamp design which is believed be taken from Hyundai i35 crossover. The tail lamp cluster too will undergo minor tweaking. Along with exterior, Hyundai i10 will get a new interior  too but the changes may be limited. On price of new i10, Hyundai  says  “ it is not a cheap unit, just a very efficient one”.

Competition (Chevrolet Beat, Ford Figo, Maruti A-Star, and many) be aware, Hyundai i10 is still ruling the chart and its getting more attractive so what’s your reaction? We know many of you will be waiting for updates on facelifted Hyundai i10 so don’t forget to subscribe to our updates.
