Hyundai Launches Special Edition I10,120 In UK.

Hyundai I20 Edition Launched In U.K

Hyundai UK is trying to keep the momentum they gained recently with the launch of  Special Edition I10 and  I20  there. Today they announced the arrival of Special Edition of I-10, I-20 and I-30. These special edition offerings are upgraded versions of their hot selling models,  interms of safety and comfort, style and drivability.

Hyundai has been labelled  these special edition I20 and I10 as I20 Edition and I10 Edition. The major feature of these variants is Hyundai has been included many optional features in the standard offering. I20 is powered by 1.2 ltr engine there, both three door and five door versions are available.

Now in special edition variants comes with plush half-leather seat trim, air conditioning, coloured interior detailing, electric windows, leather steering wheel and gear knob, steering wheel audio controls, a CD-radio with Aux and USB connections and remote central locking are part of standard model. In the safety department  I20 Edition has an edge over it’s competition, it comes with standard ESP, active front seat head restraints and six airbags as part of base model. The additional features in exteriors includes a fog lamps and 15 inch alloy wheels.

Hyundai I10 Edition becomes a surprise with the long list of accessories. The extras include  14-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured door mirrors, body side mouldings and front fog lights, the i10 Edition also has remote central locking, colourful interior detailing, air conditioning, electric windows, a height-adjustable drivers’ seat and a leather steering wheel and gear knob. Hyundai I10 is enjoying special tax benefit in UK  by returning super low emissions. So by adding more features I10 will definitely improve it’s stand.

Back to India, Hyundai India is finally started again from their I-10 and I20. Hyundai i10 has taken over Santro Xing in domestic market. I20 after initial drag started gaining high sales volumes for the last few months. So introduction of a such special edition is unlikely in India. Anyway it could be worth watching.
