"It is a proud moment for Hyundai as it is not only the second manufacturer to have achieved this, but also the fastest," HMIL Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) Arvind Saxena said. The Korean automobile major began their operation with the launch of their successful Santro compact car.Hyundai Santro completed two major mission in Indian sub-continent.First, it expanded the choice of an average small car  customer from M800 to truly competitive product range.Second, convinced Hyundai Motors to choose India as their manufacturing base for many other products.

"Before HMIL started exporting ‘Made-in-India’ cars, we hardly had any presence in the international market. But today they are present in over 100 countries and Indian made cars are acceptable in terms of quality and performance," Mr.Saxena continued.Out of the 25lakhs cars Hyundai exported nearly nine lakh units  to overseas markets.

The major aspect of Hyundai India’s success story is, they analysed Indian market and it’s customer  very well before finalizing the products features and it’s pricing. Also they could establish a very strong vendor base here in India, thus cut down cost to  some extend. So they did not surprise us by announcing  out of prices for their products.

So Hyundai India, lots more things to happen, Wish you will cross 50lakh milestone before next ten years.
