Hyundai Verna could be one of the best in class car its segment.But in India Hyundai Verna couldn’t succeed in numbers game.But still Hyundai could offer something special to it’s niche customers in India.Last year we had seen the launch of automatic variant of Verna,remember the Verna with Autobox was first in it’s category.Now Hyundai Verna getting another update in South Korea.Yesterday Hyundai unveiled the latest version of Verna, the Verna Transform in South Korean market.
Verna Transform may disappoint you interms of the changes it brings.But Hyundai managed to revamp the front grille from the honey comb style to more aggressive design(in available images it resembles to refreshed Toyota Innova grille, may be a mere coincidence).The headlamps have undergone cosmetic surgery,for good looks.The tail lamp department has been overhauled ,the Verna Transform may yield better fuel economy as well.It is believed that Verna Transform is enriched with some tweaks for improving the fuel economy.If Hyundai Verna could bring some thing better than existing 18km/ltr fuel economy that could be one of the toughest to break figure.
Hyudai Verna Transform brings some goodies under the roof as well.The centre stack has been upgraded,the music system is compatible to USB/Aux inputs.Even the latest bluetooth can be connected to Verna Transform’s music system.The instrumentation panels turns blue from green.Hyundai has upgraded both diesel and petrol variant of Verna to Verna Transform.The petrol Verna Transform variant has been priced at US$8,000 and diesel variant at US$11,000.

This is the worst re-design I have seen so far in my life. It looks like a Pig wit two nose rings pierced in its snout. The lower part of the bumper and grill look like that on the Ford Fiesta – but copied by a six year kid drawing with his hand tied ! The headlamps looked nice on the Ford but here it looks like the car is crying ! Remove the nose ring and clean up the headlamps it may look nice.

This is how a company spoils the existing image of a moderately good product.it seems new Verna Transform annoys you a lot.Let HMIL keep this in mind before taking any decision about launching Verna Transform in India.
