Nissan Micra has been drawing our attention on regular basis. We had shown you some Nissan Micra undisguised images from Nissan factory in China. Then we brought spy shots of Nissan Micra from Norway. Now once again Nissan Micra is appearing before camera, this time Micra was caught in Australia during a commercial shoot. Though Micra is partially covered, available images give sufficient clues to have an initial impression about this upcoming small car.
Nissan Micra design was exposed before too, many rounds of renderings were done before. The final production form of Micra is looking similar to the speculated renderings which we featured. The Fiat Punto like head lamps and large size bottom grille of Micra was featured in previous images too. The C-Pillar is broader than Micra’s previous versions, it looks bit distracting once you pay close attention. The C-Pillar is abruptly ending without extending to accommodate tail gate.
Nissan Micra India Engine Specifications
The Micra will be powered by a 1.2 ltr 3 Cylinder Gasoline engine. Diesel version of Micra will hit markets six months after gasoline version Micra debut. The gasoline engine will have power output of 54Kw with outstanding 26km/ltr fuel efficiency. In India Nissan Micra will be priced between Rs.4-5 lacs, so Maruti Ritz and Swift will have to fight against their Japanese rival in Indian roads too. Nissan Micra India launch is expected happen in second quarter of 2010. As before we will cover Nissan Micra’s journey without leaving any small patch.
