India Bound Volkswagen Polo Shown In Geneva Motorshow

After scoring stunning success with premium models like Jetta and Passat Volkswagen is planning Polo to launch in India by next year.Volkswagen displayed the 5th upgrade of Volkswagen Polo in Geneva MotorShow.The new Polo is bigger in than the previous versions.

But 5th generation Polo is lighter by 7.5%,that make much fuel efficient than all other previous models.The wider dimensions offers better interior space adding better fuel efficiency, this Polo is emerging as clear winner over all other previous editions.

New Polo is powered by 1.2 ltr petrol engine and 1.4 ltr diesel engine, another turbocharged 1.2 ltr TSI petrol engine and 1.6TDI diesel engine is in pipeline.As a package new Polo is rich,airbags, anti-lock brakes, Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) and ISOFIX anchor points all are standard offering.Polo BlueMotion, the better fuel efficient model also will launched soon.

This all new Polo will be initially launched in Europe then America.India also may get this generation Polo by 2010.This could be the best hatch back one could wait and it will be worth waiting.
