Even though Indian automobile industry is facing an abrupt recession, there is some silver line in parking chaos.Recently India’s financial capital,Mumbai witnessed inauguration of multi-level parking systems in its prime areas. This concept was well received by general public. Last week KLAUS Multiparking Systems, the German leader in mechanized car parking and Pune-based Automag group, in a 50:50 joint venture project, has set up a manufacturing facility in Pune to produce mechanised parking system sets.Indian grown Kinetic Engineering Systems Limited(KESL),another Pune based firm is also present in this domain.KESL already installed more than thirty odd systems in India.
No doubt mechanized parking system has proven advantages of available area utilisation, fuel saving, safety for cars when comparing to higher capital investment.Mechanized car parking systems are need of time, especially critics wasting no time blame Nano for parking and traffic problems, much ahead of its launch.
